Two Box Elder County sheriff's deputies face separate Aug. 19 court dates on allegations of domestic violence in the Tremonton home they share.

Richard Todd Bills and Janea Louise Vandehei are charged with misdemeanor counts of assault and domestic violence in the presence of a child.

The charges stem from an incident on June 26. Tremonton police responded on a complaint but made no arrests at the time. The case was referred to the city attorney, who filed charges on July 23.

The sheriff's office declined comment other than to confirm the deputies were placed on administrative leave pending an internal affairs investigation.
