The appeal of Wipeout (7 p.m., ABC/Ch. 4) is no secret. It's ridiculous.

This adaptation of Japanese game shows features people who look like fools as they attempt to conquer bizarre obstacles.

Tonight's obstacles include the Trippity Skippity Flippity Doo. 'Nuff said.
