The American dream of owning a home appears to be harder to achieve for many Hispanics living in Salt Lake County. A new study shows 27 percent of Hispanics applying for a home mortgage were denied a loan; for whites, the rejection rate was 14 percent. Trib Talk's Jennifer Napier-Pearce spoke with reporter Paul Beebe, the University of Utah's James Wood and Realtor Fredy Martinez about the study and what it will take to improve the odds for prospective Hispanic home buyers. Watch the replay above.
