South Weber Drive, State Road 60, the highway that parallels I-84 north of Hill Air Force Base, will face significant delays and restrictions for repairs over the next couple months beginning on Thursday.

The road will be reduced to one lane in each direction between U.S. 89 and 1050 West (State Road 168) from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, Monday through Saturday. At times, it will be reduced to one-way traffic, and flaggers and a pilot vehicle will be used to convey traffic around construction.

Crews will resurface the road, repair sidewalks, remove and replace pedestrian ramps and repair soft spots and potholes. Work is scheduled to be completed by October, according to the Utah Department of Transportation.
