Miss Riverton has abdicated her throne.

Teenage beauty queen Kendra McKenzie Gill resigned her title after being charged with multiple felonies on allegations that she and three other teens threw homemade bombs at houses, Miss Riverton pageant director Sean Wilson confirmed Tuesday.

Gill, 18, was charged Friday with four second-degree felony counts of possession of an explosive device. According to court documents, she and her three friends drove around Riverton on the night of Aug. 2 and flung plastic bottles containing aluminum foil and toilet bowl cleaner, which caused loud explosions. The teens were targeting friends as a prank, investigators wrote.

Gill's 18-year-old co-defendants — Bryce Christopher Stone, Shanna Smith and John Reagh — face the same felony charges.

Earlier this summer, Gill beat out eight other beauty contestants in the Riverton pageant. She performed a Scott Joplin piano piece.
