Utah's summer smog topic of Wednesday's 'Radio West'

Salt Lake Tribune environmental reporter Judy Fahys joins "Radio West" host Doug Fabrizio and Utah Department of Environmental Quality toxicologist Steve Packham at 11 a.m. Wednesday for a discussion about summer smog in Utah.

The program is broadcast live on KUER 90 FM or you may listen to a live stream at www.kuer.org. KUER rebroadcasts "Radio West" at 7 p.m.

Fahys and other program participates will discuss summer ozone pollution and its effects. They also will talk about a new app under development to monitor how air-pollution might be expected to affect an individual's health.
