Egypt is very like the United States in terms of a generally "liberal" population and gun-toting, God-fearing fundamentalist believers. There the religious militias are resisting a coup against a legitimately elected government, and no one can say otherwise.
So, with the army backing the liberals and the people supporting the army, do the religious people in this country side with the pro-Morsi group – which hates and kills Christians or with the liberals and against a religious majority? It seems a dilemma.
