Police and FBI are asking for the public's help bringing in a suspected bank robber on a spree in Salt Lake County.

On Tuesday, about 5:35 p.m., a man in his mid-20s walked in to University Credit Union at 2752 S. Redwood Road and passed the teller a note demanding money. The teller complied and the suspect fled on foot. He was wearing a gray long-sleeve button-up shirt, blue jeans, sunglasses and a grey baseball cap.

His physical description — a white man who is 5-foot-10 with a thin to average build — matches that of the man who robbed two other banks in the last two weeks.

The first was on Aug. 9, when a man robbed a US Bank at 4135 S. Redwood Road in Taylorsville. Police believe the same man on Aug. 12 robbed the Zions Bank at 3712 W. 3500 South, also in West Valley City.

West Valley City police, Unified Police Department and the FBI are working together to identify the suspect in the surveillance photos. Anyone who can help identify him, or has information about the robberies, is asked to call any of the three agencies.
