We're used to complaining about there being too many reality shows on TV, but there's only one new one on the networks this fall. And it's not really new, it's just a new version of an old series.
1. MasterChef Junior (Fridays, 7 p.m., Fox/Ch. 13, Sept. 27): This is exactly what the title indicates "MasterChef" with kids. Chefs Gordon Ramsay, Joe Bastianich and Graham Elliott do the coaching and the judging; there are a bunch of precocious youngsters (with over-anxious stage parents just out of sight); and it seems rather benign. Except that kids should never be used as ratings fodder because something will always go wrong if not on the show then in the hoopla surrounding it.
