Raptors pound Voyagers

Jacob Scavuzzo hit a solo home run, and the Ogden Raptors pounded out 16 hits en route to a 9-7 victory over the Great Falls Voyagers in Pioneer League action Friday night in Great Falls, Mont.

Scavuzzo's homer scored the first run of the game in the second inning. The Voyagers countered with four runs in the bottom of the second, but the Raptors took a 6-5 lead with a four-run inning in the top of the fifth.

Pat Stover, Kyle Farmer and Gerson Nunez each drove in two runs for Ogden.

Brewers 11, Owlz 2 • Host Orem gave up 16 hits and committed three errors and were drubbed by Helena in Pioneer League play.
