The victim of a fatal weekend motorcycle crash in Montana has been identified as an Orem, Utah man.

The McCone County Sheriff's Office on Tuesday confirmed that 62-year-old Timothy Woodward was dead at the scene of the 3 p.m. Sunday crash on State Route 24, near Fort Peck.

Woodward drifted southbound across the center line and struck a mile marker and was thrown into a ditch. He was not wearing a helmet, according to the Montana Highway Patrol.

MHP said the cause of Woodward's drifting off the road was still under investigation.
