The Thursday KJZZ Game of the Week between Logan and Cottonwood has been moved from its originally scheduled time of 7 p.m. to 3 p.m. Cottonwood athletic director Matt Baumann confirmed the change, citing last Friday's stadium lighting situation in the season opener against Olympus.

As chronicled in the Tribune Saturday, the power outage left Cottonwood's four light towers at about 50 percent of luminosity, which led game officials and school administrators to call the game with Olympus leading 14-8 with 2 minutes, 51 seconds to play in the second quarter.

Baumann said the game will run as part of the KJZZ Game of the Week as previously scheduled, but at 3 p.m. instead of 7 p.m.

Logan defeated Northridge 41-38 on the road last Friday behind senior quarterback Chase Nelson and his 370-yard, four-touchdown performance.
