Bad move

At a meeting of the Prison Relocation and Development Authority, I was impressed by the presentation by the clergy, volunteers, medical professionals and, most impressive, was the presentation given by First District Judge Kevin Allen with regard to the Mental Health Court and Drug Court.
I was very surprised and disappointed the article in the Tribune ("Utah sex offender policy in spotlight as numbers soar," Sept. 3) failed to mention the devastating affect that moving the prison would have on the volunteers or the many ways the judge outlined to the committee to reduce the prison population.
