World police

Want to solve the federal government's deficit woes? The solution is quite straightforward. First, quit being the arrogant police of the world. No intervention unless we are attacked first.

This would allow us a drastic cutback in military spending, which would reconcile our debt over a relatively short amount of time. Next, withdraw from Germany, Japan, Korea and other countries. If they want our military presence and protection then they should be charged a fee. They should fund the "protection" we give.

Considering we are supposed to be a free-market, capitalistic society, let's act like one.
