A line in the sand is temporary; it is not carved in rock; it is not permanent. Time has eroded the line, but its purpose has been realized: to make the point we do not approve of chemical weapons.
U.S. citizens are not at risk in Syria; energy independence at home is ours to choose.
Syria is an issue that needs to be resolved by a global consensus; not by a bully with a stick. Barbaric responses to barbaric actions will not lead to world peace, nor peace in the Middle East.
