Zions Bank will match up to $140,000 in cash contributions to the Utah Food Bank during the bank's annual food drive, which ends Sept. 27.

Food donations are welcome, but dollars stretch further, according to the bank. Each donated dollar can be converted up to $6 in food or three meals.

Contributions can be made three ways:

• Online at www.zionsbank.com/donate.

• Cash or checks payable to Zions Bank Food Drive will be accepted at any Zions bank branch.

• Canned and nonperishable food items can be dropped off at any Zions bank.

Zions began holding drives for food banks in Utah and Idaho in 2003. Since then, the bank has collected almost 1.1 million pounds of food, equivalent to 828,000 meals.
