Bozeman, Mont. • Montana State quarterback DeNarius McGhee suffered a separated shoulder during the Bobcats' 31-30 loss at SMU and will be sidelined until sometime in October.

School officials said Monday that Jake Bleskin of Great Falls is listed as the starter for Saturday's home game with Colorado Mesa.

McGhee, a senior from Euless, Texas, will see his string consecutive starts end at 40.

Defensive tackle Craig Ashworth along with punter and kicker Rory Perez have unspecified injuries and are listed as questionable for Saturday's game.

Montana State held onto its third-place ranking in the Football Championship Subdivision media poll.
