A South Jordan man died in a motorcycle crash Tuesday in Summit County.

Thomas F. Seal, 59, was driving a 2004 Harley Davidson FHC about noon on State Road 65 near Henefer, when he missed a curve in the road and drove into the right shoulder, troopers reported. Seal lost control and crashed, troopers wrote. He was not wearing a helmet and died at the scene, troopers wrote.

A witness said Seal looked down right before the crash, possibly at a cell phone, troopers wrote.

No other vehicles were involved and the motorcycle was not carrying additional passengers.
