Omaha — Game 1 of the Pacific Coast League championship series between Salt Lake and Omaha was suspended Tuesday night because of rain.

The Bees and Storm Chasers will resume the opener Wednesday at 12:05 p.m. MDT with score tied, 1-1, heading into the bottom of the second inning.

Game 2 in the best-of-five series will start as scheduled at 6:05 p.m.

Before the rain hit, Salt Lake tied Game 1 in the top of the second when Efren Navarro led off with a single and went to second on a wild pitch. Two outs later, he scored on Rusty Ryal's RBI single.
