A semi-trailer rolled into a tributary of the Weber River in Morgan County Friday morning.

According to Utah Highway Patrol Trooper Todd Johnson, the accident happened at 5:03 a.m. when the truck rolled off a road near exit 111, north of Morgan, on Interstate 84. The truck, which was carrying cement, landed on its side in a creek that feeds into the Weber River, Johnson said.

The truck was leaving the Holcim cement plant when the accident happened. Johnson said the "driver looked down for a second and went off the road." He suffered very minor injuries, Johnson added.

According to KUTV, the trailer landed in Lost Creek, about 150 yards from the Weber River. The trailer was carrying cement and had about 200 gallons of diesel fuel, which authorities were working to contain before it leaked into the water, according to KUTV.
