Oregon State sophomore running back Storm Woods, who was injured during Saturday's game at Utah, suffered a concussion, Oregon State coach Mike Riley announced Sunday.
Woods is on Oregon State's injured list indefinitely as he goes through the school's normal protocol for concussion treatment, according to Dr. Doug Aukerman, Oregon State's senior associate athletic director for sports medicine.
Woods was hurt while blocking during the fourth quarter of Oregon State's 51-48 overtime win over the Utes and remained motionless on the field for several minutes before he was transported by ambulance to the University of Utah hospital.
He finished the game with 12 carries for 34 yards.
The Beavers waited for him to be cleared by doctors before flying back to Oregon so he could travel home with the team.
