Some weeks, coach Matt Wells talks about a opposing player that he or another staffer recruited to Utah State.

This isn't one of those weeks, as the Aggies prepare for USC.

Wells said he wasn't sure how many Trojans had even heard of Utah State before it popped up on their schedule. He wondered if they knew where Logan is. He doubted that many USC players had watched them on TV.

Is USC taking the Aggies seriously? At least coach Lane Kiffin seems to be.

In his weekly video filmed by the athletic department, Kiffin calls Utah State "a big-time team." He could be acting a little diplomatic as most coaches are, but, Kiffin seems to take the Aggies, and their performances in money games, very seriously.

He also was complimentary of quarterback Chuckie Keeton: "He can throw the ball, he can scramble, he can do everything. They've lit up the scoreboard for years."

Does that trickle down to the players at USC? That remains to be seen. But for a program that often enters seasons with conference and national championship hopes, falling to 2-2 before Pac-12 play wouldn't be a good start.

Check out the video above, which appears also on the USC athletics website.
