Fans of Utah Fanzz sports merchandise stores now have 27 more outlets where they can stock up on clothing and gear of their favorite sports teams.

The Salt Lake-based company, owned by the Larry H. Miller Group, announced Monday that it has acquired 27 Just Sports stores in the Pacific Northwest, increasing the company's sales volume by approximately 25 percent. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Linda Luchetti, executive vice president of communications for the Larry Miller Group, said the stores will feature all pro sports merchandise, with special sections carrying more gear featuring local sports teams. All available merchandise is online.

Utah has two Fanzz sports stores unique to the state. One is the flagship Jazz store at Energy Solutions Arena and the other is a National Football League-exclusive store at Fashion Place Mall.

Fanzz stores, which carry products from Nike, Adidas, New Era, Reebok and other sports specialty companies, are located in 21 states besides Utah. The company started with three locations in Utah in 1987 and now has 122 stores in 22 states as well as an online store at fanzz.com.

Though based in Utah, the Larry H. Miller Group operates automobile dealerships, auto care stores and a finance company out of state as well as a recently acquired Megaplex theater in Mesquite, Nev.
