Volunteers help with Salt Lake County's million-trees program

Above and right • Volunteers from Rocky Mountain Power and Tree Inc. join TreeUtah on Thursday to plant nine large oak trees at Wheeler Farm in Murray. TreeUtah is helping Salt Lake County reach its goal of planting 1 million trees through the "One Million Trees for One Million People" program. The program's mission is to plant a million trees by 2017, and it is about halfway toward that goal. TreeUtah is a statewide nonprofit organization dedicated to tree planting and education.
