State colleges: Alexa Gray leads BYU volleyball to five-set home victory over Saint Mary's

Provo • Alexa Gray hit a game-high 21 kills, including the final three during a five-set victory over Saint Mary's in West Coast Conference women's volleyball on Thursday night.

Tambre Haddock tallied 20 kills and Camry Godfrey added 54 assists for the Cougars (9-3, 2-0), who won 25-14, 23-25, 26-24, 21-25, 15-13.

BYU outhit Saint Mary's .325-223. The Cougars have won five straight matches, including a 3-0 victory over No. 2 San Diego last Friday.

North Dakota 3, Weber State 0 • In Grand Forks, N.D., the Wildcats hit a season-high .375, but it wasn't enough in a 25-22, 25-19, 29-27 loss in Big Sky Conference action. Weber State (4-14, 0-4) has lost 14 straight matches.
