A Grantsville teenager was in serious but improving condition on Tuesday, two days after her Ford Ranger rolled off State Road 138 near the Tooele County town of Erda.
The 17-year-old was driving west about 9:41 p.m. Sunday when she drifted into the shoulder, overcorrected and rolled the vehicle across both lanes of traffic before coming to a rest on the south side of the road, The Utah Highway Patrol said.
The girl was wearing a seatbelt, which likely prevented her from suffering more severe injuries, troopers said.
No citations were issued but the accident remained under investigation.
