Six Utahns have qualified for the $6.2 million Wangler National Finals Rodeo, including two-time world champion Kaycee Feild in bareback.

The top-15 money-winners in each event during the season advance to the National Finals, which is held Dec. 4-15 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.

Feild, who is from Payson, finished second in bareback this season with earnings of $120,375. He will make his sixth trip to the National Finals after winning back-to-back world titles in 2011 and 2012.

Caleb Bennett of Morgan also qualified in bareback. He cashed checks in his final six rodeos and moved from 18th to 15th in the standings. Bennett finished about $6,000 ahead of R.C. Landingham of Pendleton, Oregon, for the last berth in the NFR.

Cody, Jesse and Jake Wright — brothers from Milford — all qualified in saddle bronc.

Cody Wright will make his 11th appearance in the National Finals after winning world titles in 2008 and 2010. He finished as the leading money winning this season with earnings of $128,703.

Jesse Wright is the reigning world champion who makes his third trip to the NFR. He finished second on this season's money-list with $108,950 — about $20,000 behind his brother, Cody.

Jake Wright qualified for the second National Finals Rodeo of his career after a late-season surge carried him to seventh on the money list. He finished with earnings of $88,095 to punch his ticket to Las Vegas.

In bull riding, Steve Woolsey of Payson will compete in his seventh National Finals. He finished 15th in season earnings with $70,067 — just $2,056 ahead of Chris Roundy of Spanish Fork. Woolsey struggled with injuries last year and into the spring of this season, but he edged Roundy for the final spot in the NFR.
