Unified Police officers were left with few leads Wednesday after investigating a report of gunshots being fired from a car in the Millcreek area.

UPD Lt. Justin Hoyal said a 911 call came in about 4 a.m. reporting that three shots were fired from a white Mercedes sedan near 3900 South and 200 West, not far from the Meadowbrook TRAX station.

Other than the suspect being a male driver accompanied by a female passenger, responding officers had little to go on. The vehicle had left the area and police found no evidence of damage from gunfire or any injuries.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call UPD at 801-743-7000.
