Here's your weekly roundup of what local city councils, school boards and other government entities are tackling during regularly scheduled meetings. Government agencies have until 24 hours before a meeting to post their agendas, so check back as this schedule will be updated. All meetings are open to the public, and citizens are welcome to voice their opinions during designated times. If you do wish to speak at a particular meeting, you may need to sign up in advance.

Provo Municipal Council • Will hold a public meeting about the Utility Transportation Fund, designed to maintain city roads in a manner considered more transparent, equitable and sustainable than the current method of bonding for road maintenance; Tuesday, Oct. 8, 8 p.m., Council Conference Room, 351 W. Salt Lake City Council • Will get a briefing on the Utah Performing Arts Center at its 2 p.m. monthly meeting of the Redevelopment Agency board. In addition, the council will get a briefing on the Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan at 5 p.m.

Salt Lake County Council • Will consider Councilman Sam Granato's request to send a formal letter to Gov.
