Respect your audience, Fox News

When I watch cable news, I generally flip back and forth between CNN and Fox in hopes of getting a more balanced perspective.

Thursday morning I was surprised to see that Fox did not carry the president's live speech from a construction company in Maryland. CNN did.

Apparently Fox was afraid its viewers would learn something from an informative speech that outlined how Congress is supposed to work and defined budget bill and debt ceiling.

The pesident clearly explained how some Republican members of the U.S. House of Representatives, and especially Speaker John Boehner, continue to abuse their positions to place the country in unnecessary economic danger for political gain.

It is unfortunate Fox does not think more of their followers' abilities to interpret the president's remarks directly and instead will filter the speech's content through the later remarks of their commentators.
