Sign the budget and move on

So here I am, a close-to-60-year-old Republican living the happy life in Utah, right?

My wife, a very reasonable person, informed me that once we go on Medicare the federal government (because of Obamacare) will decide if we live or die by denying us important health care. Really!

Let's talk facts. Who in their right mind would believe that the largest group of voting Americans would allow their government to deny them health care? Secondly, are the children of these senior citizens going to stand by and watch their parents die due to denial of health care?

Our own Republican legislators are doing a great job of telling those in our party who follow blindly that their very lives are in mortal danger if they don't fight Obamacare. None of us knows yet what the impacts of Obamacare will be, and it is the law. Stop acting like spoiled kids who did not get their way and stop trying to frighten everyone.

Get the dang budget extension signed, let the dust settle from the implementation of Obamacare, and then work to refine it.

In general, get the work of the people done and stop all this nonsense.
