Participants in the Utah Underwear Run gave folks in post-General Conference downtown Salt Lake City an eyeful on Sunday.

Runners dressed only in their underwear began their run at 5 p.m., about an hour after the Mormon church's final conference session dispersed for the weekend.

Organizers had initially planned the downtown run for 4 p.m., the end time for the final session.

But city officials moved the start back an hour to avoid further exacerbating congestion that typically occurs at the end of a session at the 21,000-seat Conference Center.

The run began at Library Square, went up State Street, past Temple Square, up and around the Capitol and ended back at Library Square.
