A suspected drunken driver was injured Saturday night after he collided with a milk truck in Logan Canyon.
Utah Highway Patrol said the 31-year-old Cornish man was southbound on State Route 89 when his pickup crossed into the northbound lane and into the path of tractor trailer carrying a load of milk.
The passenger side of the pickup collided with the passenger side of the semi, which caused the semi to spring a fuel leak, troopers said.
The driver of the pickup was taken to a hospital for treatment, and when he was released, he was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and taken to the Cache County Jail, troopers said.
The driver of the semi was uninjured.
Troopers said alcohol was believed to have caused the crash.
