Follow the money to shutdown skulduggery

My very smart grandfather said, "When there is political skulduggery, upheaval or war, follow the money."

So now we learn that there is "a long-running effort, waged by a galaxy of well-funded groups, to undo President Obama's health care law" as cited in Sunday's New York Times.

The question is why. Let's follow the money. We know that the insurance industry is a powerful lobby. That's big money for legislators. We know that they are afraid of losing their white majority power to the rising numbers of non-whites. Power means money.

They know that health care for these non-whites will ensure a longer life span. They are afraid another progressive program will succeed and add to the popularity of the Democrats. They want the health insurers to continue unfettered to milk the poor and the middle class, so they can become richer and more powerful.

More than anything, they want our president to fail because they want to own the White House. Thus, this defunding initiative. Add voter suppression, and their goals are transparent.
