A week after the bumpy launch of the Affordable Care Act's online health insurance exchange, many Utah families remain confused about the law and what it means for them.

To familiarize individuals and families with the health law, the YMCA of Taylorsville and Arches Health Plan, a nonprofit, member-governed insurer, will hold a free educational forum on Tuesday. Experts will be on hand to help people shop for and enroll in an exchange health plan and calculate their eligibility for tax credits to put toward their purchase.

The event is open to the public and runs from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the YMCA at 4223 S. Atherton Drive in Taylorsville.
