Logan • As I wrote in Wednesday's Tribune, redshirt freshman Nick Vigil got his first chance to start in college last week, getting the nod against BYU.
It came as a surprise to Vigil, but also to his parents. Because he didn't call them.
But other family knew - his brother, Zach, had some words for him before they took the field.
"He just said, 'You've got to have a day,'" Nick Vigil said. "He said, 'We need you, and you're gonna have to have a good game.'"
Vigil went on to get eight tackles and half a sack in his start. In this video, he talks about switching positions, and also previews Boise State's fierce run game.
Keep tuning in.
