Remember value of parks after shutdown

I find it ironic that the very people so angry at President Clinton for establishing Grand Staircase Escalante Monument and so anxious to drill near our national parks suddenly seem to realize the economic value of having land set aside for generations. Hopefully, they will remember the impact of the shutdown and appreciate the dollars that conservation of natural resources bring to our state after the government reopens.
