The Pac-12 Network will focus on University of Utah captain Trevor Reilly on Saturday - but not on his football abilities, for the most part. The 3½-minute segment does feature Ute coach Kyle Whittingham lauding Reilly's play and points out that he played last season on a torn ACL."I mean, there's not a lot of guys in the country that could have done what he did last year with that injury," Whittingham said. But what this is all about is far from football. It's about his baby daughter, Shayn, and her battle with cancer. "It was rough," says Reilly, who adds that he "was pretty emotional about it."You wouldn't know it from his stoic behavior on camera, but his wife, Jessica, says, "I've known him for 10 years. The one time I've seen him cry is when Shane got diagnosed with cancer."We've seen this story before locally, but this will go out to a wider audience on P12N's pregame show at 3 p.m. on Saturday, before Utah takes on Stanford. And former Ute running back Jamal Anderson will be in studio for the pregame, halftime and postgame shows, joining Mike Yam, Rick Neuheisel and Curtis Conway.
