Salt Lake City police responded to a disturbance at a laundromat, only to find a suspect on a psychological spin cycle.
The 911 call came in just before 11 a.m. Monday from 1974 S. 1100 East, reporting a man "acting strange and scaring customers." He had refused to leave the premises.
When officers arrived, they found the 38-year-old man ready to fight. Police eventually had to use a Taser to subdue the suspect.
The man was booked into Salt Lake County Jail on suspicion of possessing burglary tools and drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest. The man also was wanted on warrants for burglary, theft and numerous traffic violations.
He remained in jail Tuesday in lieu of more than $100,000 bond.
