Letter: Cruz, Lee forgot Utah depends on federal government

Re "Zion shutdown leaves streets, motels of So. Utah town empty," Tribune, Oct. 10:

Utah GOP Gov. Gary Herbert to President Obama: I order you to save Utah from the economic harm that our GOP brothers and sisters have created for Utah's citizens.

Evidently Sen. Ted Cruz forgot to tell his Senate flunky, Sen. Mike Lee, that the federal government is Utah's largest employer, and the national parks are a vital part of Utah's economy.

And Lee didn't understand that shutting down the government actually meant shutting down the government.
