Ski Utah's drive to collect warm winter coats to help low-income Utahns to both ski and stay warm this winter ends Nov. 1.

Ski Utah and its 14 resorts will be collecting clean, gently used coats and jackets in its first annual Suit Up for Snow Project. Coats of all sizes are welcome.

Benefactors will be The First Chair, whose mission is to help children from low-income households access learn-to-ski or snowboard programs as well as The Road Home, which provides basic needs such as food, clothing and children through the Salt Lake Community Shelter.

Drop off locations are at Utah's 14 ski resorts ticket offices, Ski n' See locations and the Ski Utah office at the Sheraton Hotel in Salt Lake City. For a list of locations, log on to www.skiutah.com/News.

Those who donate can enter to win prizes including skis, passes, snowboards, goggles, sunglasses and clothing.
