State colleges: Utah volleyball player reaches milestone, but Oregon wins

Utah's Erin Redd-Brandon notched her 1,000th career kill on Sunday, but the Utes got swept by the host Oregon women's volleyball team 25-15, 25-19, 25-22 in a Pac-12 match.

Redd-Brandon had seven kills, becoming the 14th member of the Utes' 1,000-kill club.

Chelsey Schofield led Utah (15-5, 4-4) with 12 kills and 11 digs.

Women's soccer

Utah Valley 3, Idaho 2 (OT) • In Moscow, Idaho, Haley Curtis scored in overtime to lift the Wolverines to victory in the Western Athletic Conference match. Melanie Ostler and Jamie Brown also scored for UVU (7-8-1, 5-3-1).

Northern Colorado 2, Southern Utah 1 (OT) • In Cedar City, Sabrina Hernandez scored for SUU on a penalty kick late in regulation before Northern Colorado won in overtime
