Popular St. George drive-through to open shop in Provo

Swig, a popular drive-through serving fountain drinks, Italian soda, hot drinks, shaved ice, smoothies, cookies, donuts and ice cream with two locations in St. George, is planning on opening its first Wasatch Front store in Provo in November.

According to the website www.provobuzz.com, the new drive-through will be located on Canyon Road near LaVell Edwards Stadium.

Nicole Tanner founded the first Swig in 2010 and located across the street from Dixie State College. That proved so popular that a second location opened in St. George.

The concept is fairly simple. Swig is similar to drive-through coffee stands but has added fountain drinks, smoothies and assorted other baked goodies to its menu.
