Juan Diego's Kempin plans to sign with Notre Dame

Juan Diego's Brendon Kempin, the two-time reigning Class 3A No. 1 singles boys' tennis state champion, plans to sign a letter of intent to play tennis at the University of Notre Dame.

Kempin is scheduled to sign his letter Nov. 13 at Juan Diego, according to a release from the school.

Kempin defeated Dixie's Tevan Balian 6-2, 6-2 in the No. 1 singles title match in May.
