A man who looked very, very chilly robbed a Salt Lake City bank Friday afternoon and police hope the public can help catch him.

The man walked into a Zion's Bank branch at 310 S. Main Street about 1 p.m., according to police. Police say he then approached a bank teller and demanded cash.

Despite the unusually warm weather, the man was dressed in a heavy winter parka and a beanie pulled down over much of his face. A teller complied and the man fled.

Police say he was last seen heading west. He also wore jeans, white sneakers and sunglasses during the robbery and is described as having a dark complexion.

Anyone with information about the robbery can call 801-799-3000. Tips may be sent anonymously by texting TIPSLCPD plus any relevant information to CRIMES (274637).
