Ashton Hall scored in the 17th minute, and Utah held on for a 1-1 tie against No. 2 UCLA in women's college soccer action Friday at Ute Field.

The Bruins tied the game five minutes after Hall's score, but that was the only shot Utah goalkeeper Lindsey Luke (7 saves, including one in the 110th minute in overtime) let get past her.

Utah improved to 7-3-6, 3-2-2 in the Pac-12. UCLA is now 13-1-2, 5-0-2 in conference play.

Southern Utah 3, Eastern Washington 0 • Nancy Brich, Madison Wood and Shelby Green each scored a goal as the Thunderbirds (6-10-1, 3-4-1 Big Sky) cruised on the road.

Utah State 0, New Mexico 0 • Natalie Stoven made four saves for the Aggies (9-5-3, 5-2-1 Mountain West) at home.

Weber State 1, Northern Colorado 1 • Mackenzie Harrison scored the game-tying goal in the 61st minute, and the Wildcats (8-4-4, 4-2-2 Big Sky) held on for a draw in Greeley, Colo.

Utah Valley 3, Grand Canyon 0 • Natalie Baker scored two goals and Kim Stratford added another as the Wolverines (8-8-1, 6-3-1 Western Athletic) easily won in Orem.

Women's volleyball

Idaho State def. Southern Utah 25-17, 25-21, 25-20 • Alissa Youart registered 10 kills in a losing effort for the T-birds (2-19, 1-10 Big Sky) in Pocatello, Idaho.

SLCC def. North Idaho 25-20, 25-19, 25-20 • Carol Grasso posted 16 kills and 16 digs to help Salt Lake Community College (19-6, 7-0 SWAC) win at home.
