Hope you enjoyed this weekend's warm weather because in a blink of an eye, it'll be downright cold — and rainy and snowy for a couple of days.

On Sunday, temperatures soared into the 70s, but come Monday they'll dip into the lower 60s. On Tuesday, expect temperatures to top out at 50 in Salt Lake City, the National Weather Service reported.

Monday's temperature drop will also be accompanied by a 60 percent chance of rain. By Monday night and through Wednesday, a chance of rain or snow is forecast.

But for the kiddos looking forward to Halloween, Mother Nature is expect to oblige. By Thursday, the precipitation will make way for sunny skies and temperatures in the 50s.

Salt Lake City's highs were forecast to hit 62 on Monday and 50 on Tuesday; Ogden can expect 62 and 47, respectively; Provo 61 and 48; Logan 58 and 46; Wendover 54 and 48; Duchesne 59 and 46; Cedar City 58 and 44; St. George 68 and 59; and Moab 72 and 62 degrees.
