Chandler Parsons scored 24 points and Houston rallied from a 19-point deficit to defeat the Jazz, 104-93, on Saturday night at EnergySolutions Arena.

Richard Jefferson scored 18 points to lead Utah, which slipped to 0-3 at the start of a season for the first time since 1979-80.

The Jazz jumped to a 24-16 lead after the first quarter.

Enes Kanter finished with 10 points and six rebounds in less than 11 minutes while Gordon Hayward added eight points, including six during an early 72-second span.

In the second quarter, Utah stretched its lead to 56-37 when Mike Harris buried two free throws with 1:03 remaining.

Houston countered with a three-point play by Jeremy Lin, but the Rockets failed to get closer when James Harden missed a long three-pointer and they turned the ball over with five seconds left.

In the third quarter, Utah went almost six minutes without a field goal. The Rockets used an 18-2 run to tie the game, 60-60. They needed only six minutes to wipe out the Jazz's 19-point lead before taking control in the final six minutes of the game.
