Utah's forecast called for warmer, drier and cloudy weather at the mid-week.

Along the Wasatch Front, temperatures on Thursday were to flirt with 60 degrees, up 10 degrees from Wednesday's forecast. Overnight lows in the upper-30s to low-40s were expected, along with early morning breezes of 10-20 mph out of the south.

Southern Utahns could look for even balmier conditions with highs near 70 on Thursday, about 5-7 degrees warmer than Wednesday's forecast. Overnight lows in the upper-30s served as a reminder that it is autumn, even in Utah's Dixie.
