ECHL: Utah Grizzlies acquire Aubin, Pelech from Cincinnati

West Valley City • The Utah Grizzlies acquired forwards Mathieu Aubin and Michael Pelech from the Cincinnati Cyclones on Thursday in exchange for future considerations.

Aubin won Kelly Cup championships with Cincinnati in 2008 and 2010. In addition, he won a Calder Cup championship with Hamilton of the AHL in 2009.

In 346 ECHL career games with Cincinnati and Bakersfield, Aubin scored 125 goals and handed out 184 assists. Last season, he had 18 goals and 28 assists in 67 games with the Cyclones.

Pelech spent the last two years in Cincinnati, where he scored 29 goals and had 77 assists in 110 games.

The Grizzlies return to the ice Friday, Saturday and Monday nights against Ontario at the Maverik Center.
